Manager of Finance and Compliance - Term Position (Minimum 14 months)

Niverville Credit Union, with branches in Niverville, Landmark and Steinbach serves over 9,700 members throughout Southeastern Manitoba and has approximately $510 million in assets under administration. We have a staff compliment of over 40 employees spread over 3 Branches.

Position Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Manager of Finance and Compliance is responsible for providing leadership to the finance and compliance functions of Niverville Credit Union.

Some of the key functions of the position are as follows:

1)      Lead the preparation of the annual corporate budget and the financial
         forecasts for the credit union.
2)      Provide technical direction on all areas of financial accounting, financial
         analysis and financial management including asset/liability management.

3)      Lead the risk and compliance function.

4)      Coordinate IT activities in conjunction with the CEO.

Qualifications Required

The ideal candidate must possess a combination of financial education and work experience as well as   demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational skills are also a requirement of this position.

Salary and Benefits:
